I just wanted to share the latest products I've been using that I have been in love with and will def be going to repurchase when I run out. Each product will include a short review as well in case you are interested in trying them out for yourself.

Makeup Forever Smoky Extravagant Mascara: This mascaras wand doesn't leave your eyelashes clumpy. The bristles really get inbtween each lash and does a great job at seperating them and lengthening them. There's never any transfer or smudging when blinking either. Throughout the day the formula keeps its form on the lashes for over 12 hours. Every time I wear it I always get complimented on how long and full my lashes are that I get asked if I'm wearing falsies! So go ahead and give it a try. Stila's A whole Lot of Love Palette: This palette is great for everyday use. It includes four blushes, 20 eyeshoadows that are pearl finish, shimmer, and  mattes and the HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara! It includes a mirror in the kit, but the kit's too heavy to hold up for using the mirror while putting on the makeup. The colors are a nice variety and you get a lot of makeup for your money. It's a great starter kit as well. The eyeshadow colors can be worn day or night or combined for a smoky subtle look. The mascara is ok in my opinion. It does clump the lashes slightly. The pgmentation on the shadows and the blushes are really good. Although with a couple shimmer shadows which can be considered glitter shadows, they do have a little fall out. Over all the kit is great! Tarababyz on youtube has a great review and tutorial.

So I love how #peoplestylewatch curated this page in their February magazine. Using leopard print in different ways for different outfits is fresh! I've always loved leopard print in any way. A lot of people find it to be too loud, but hello the print is a focal point. Especially when done in multi color! So cute!

Another trend for the season that I love is pastel colors. The pantone colors of the year are rose quartz and serenity. Rose quartz is like a baby pink and serenity is like a pale blue. However there are more colors if you're not interested in pastels. Here is a pic of all the hottest new colors coming out for the season.



 

 

 

 

Another of my faves which I believe to be classic when done right is 70's style. My faves are the jewelry and shoes.

 

 

 

 

 

Just thought I'd share another musician I find enticing. His name is Gary Clark Jr. His music can be compared to Muddy waters and Jimi Hendrix. His voice is soulful and his multi tasking of the harmonica and guitar are pretty impressive. He's like a one man band. Check him out here at garyclarkjr.com.

So I've been recently listening to a really cool rock band duo called "Royal Blood." They channel the sound of blues-rock. Thier use of bass and drums is rediculously refreshing and they have a fresh sound that sang to my ears. Thier sound reminds me of the White Stripes Queens of the Stone Age. Ben Thatcher plays drums and Mike Kerr is the bassist/vocalist. They formed thier band in 2013 and have have been on the rise since then. So give them an ear and let me know what you think.
